Kitchen Art With Tradition and Innovative Thinking

We follow seasonal changes and are just as happy in April when the first tender nettles appear as we are when the golden chanterelle mushrooms peep out in the forest in late summer. Zander and pike bite at the hooks in spring, and we get our vendace roe straight from the local Lake Vänern fishermen in autumn.

The goats and mountain cattle grazing on our neighboring pasturelands provide the milk for our delicious cheeses, which are made in the little dairy around the corner.  Right in the midst of it all is our chef, who performs his art with creativity and consideration for the Manor’s culinary traditions.
